The UFC sign top European welterweights Tom Breese and Nicolas Dalby

By Alex Dillon @ADillon__

In what is some exciting news for European UFC fans, the organisation has today announced the signings of two welterweight prospects from the continent. Both now formerly of Cage Warriors Fighting Championship, Dalby (13-0) was the organisations welterweight champion and made quite a name for himself on the European circuit so it's no surprise that he has finally been snapped up. His last fight was a unanimous decision victory over Mohsen Bahari at Cage Warriors 74.

For some time, Tom Breese (7-0) has been touted as one of the biggest prospects to emerge on the UK MMA scene and with six submission victories from seven fights, you can see why. Originally hailing from Birmingham in the UK, Breese now trains and fights out of the world renowned Tristar gym under the tutelage of Firas Zahabi home to UFC superstars such as George St Pierre and Rory MacDonald.

Tom had the following to say on his signing and what fans can expect from him:

"I've always known I would be a UFC fighter, my goals are much higher but I take it one fight at a time. Just focusing on improving. People can expect a fighter that's always looking for the kill standing or on the ground"
