Warrior Fight Series (WFS) have today revealed that their next show on May 23rd will be coming to the home of combat sports in the East End of London, the York Hall.
The infamous 1200 capacity venue has played host to some of the greatest boxers in British history, such as Lennox Lewis, Joe Calzaghe, Michael Watson, Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank and Carl Froch, since it’s opening in 1929.
The York Hall is renowned for bringing a great atmosphere for boxing and has not featured MMA for many, many years. It is with great pleasure that WFS 3 will be able to showcase what mixed martial arts is about at the most iconic fight venue London has to offer.
Warrior Fight Series will be hosting their third show since their insertion onto the domestic UK MMA scene in June of 2014. After the runaway success of the first and second, they are back and moving on to bigger things with the announcement of not only a new venue with a larger capacity, but some awesome fights to match including many top ranked fighters.
