EXCLUSIVE: Paddy Pimblett returns at FCC 13, defends European belt against Miguel Haro

The North West’s fastest growing Pro/Am Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) event, Full Contact Contender (FCC), have announced the first headline bout exclusively to Kingdom MMA for FCC 13.The promotion’s second event of 2015 will feature a professional featherweight title fight, as Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett returns to defend his belt against Spain’s Miguel ‘Santa Muerte’ Haro.

Pimblett has compiled a professional record of 8-1, spending the majority of his career with the UK’s finest on Cage Warriors. With four submission victories to his name, Pimblett is fast becoming one of Europe’s most dynamic and popular MMA fighters. The 20-year-old last laced up gloves at FCC 12, defeating unbeaten European prospect Kevin Petshi to capture FCC’s European featherweight title.

His opponent, Miguel ‘Santa Muerte’ Haro, has put together an impressive 13-fight record in his first four years as a professional, with an even spread of KO, submission and points victories. The Spaniard possesses a strong clinch game, as well as unorthodox kicking. Haro notably scored a highlight-reel spinning back kick KO against Ludwig Salazar in 2013, before putting in solid shifts against Cage Warriors veterans Martin Svensson and Dave Hill, whom he fought last year when Cage Warriors visited Jordan.

Pimblett vs Haro will serve as a headline attraction for FCC 13 at Bolton’s Macron Stadium on June 20th, 2015. More bouts will be announced shortly.
