Bellator welterweight contender Paul 'Semtex' Daley is set to return to the Bellator cage at Bellator 140 in July, where he will fight on the same card as his recent title nemesis, Bellator Champion Douglas Lima. The Nottingham based slugger announced the news earlier via social media:
Official date for my return to the Bellator cage!!!! Gonna be able to keep a very close eye on Douglas Lima, as I will also be on the July 17th, Bellator 140 card at the Mohegan Sun, Connecticut, USA.

Widely expected to be dominated, Santos put in a gutsy performance taking Daley the distance, which prompted Daley to say he was not ready to face Lima in his next fight and wanted more cage time following a year out after perusing a professional kickboxing career which saw him go 6-0 in 2014. Lima will instead face Andrey Koreshkov at Bellator 140.
One of the most deadly strikers in all of MMA, Daley fights for the 52nd time in his professional MMA career at Bellator 140, bringing a record of 36-13-2 with 26 knockouts. His Bellator 140 opponent has yet to be confirmed although an announcement is expected with in the next few days. Daley if successful will likely face the winner of Lima vs Koreshkov later in the year.
