Grundy's debut victory came three months ago inside the Victoria Warehouse when he submitted Ant Phillips in the very first-round, and the Commonwealth medalist is ready to go once more. However, it's early days in his career and Grundy won't be getting ahead of himself just yet, he said:
"I want to work my way to the top, obviously BAMMA is the top in this country I want to work my way up and see what happens from there but its one fight at a time for me.
"Whoever comes after this then I'll have a watch of them and see what level they're at but I think I would fair pretty well against any featherweight in this country."
Training as a wrestler since he was 6 has given Grundy an unparalleled skill level when it comes to grappling, but as a member of Team Kaobon he feels that he is gradually becoming a complete mixed martial artist.
"Going into any fight especially in the UK I do feel much more well rounded in the grappling area and obviously that does go into my fights, I feel I'm at the best club in the world in Team Kaobon and I'm getting much more well rounded."
