The BAMMA 17 main event has been announced and Colin "The Freakshow" Fletcher will face Hawaiian Michael Brightmon at the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester on 6th December in a Lightweight showdown.

Brightmon (12-4) was originally scheduled to face Lightweight champion Mansour Barnaoui at BAMMA 16, until an injury to the Frenchman. Now he faces an equally formidable test in Fletcher.

Fletcher (10-4) is still looking to work his way back to a title rematch with Barnaoui, and a win over Brightmon can only help his case.

He said: "I literally can't wait to fetch my carnival of pain back to the BAMMA cage."

The TUF veteran also promised a "Freakshow spectacular" for the Manchester crowd on December 6th.

It was circulating that his potential opponent would be Marc Diakiese, after he called out Fletcher at BAMMA 16, however 'Freakshow' shot down the fight in a recent interview with the Mirror stating: "I am not disrespecting the kid by saying that, I think he has got some more leg work to do before he is viable for me."
