Grundy & Aspinall bouts added, Betran out of BAMMA 19

BAMMA have announced that Orestes Betran has been injured and is out of the bout against Ashleigh Grimshaw on the BAMMA 19 card, a replacement will be announced shortly.

Mike Grundy Vs. Damian Stasiak in a Featherweight bout & Tom Aspinall Vs. Satish Jamia in a Heavyweight bout has been added to the BAMMA 19 fightcard.

BAMMA 19 is to be held on 28th March 2015 at the Blackpool Winter Gardens and tickets are on sale now.

Mike Grundy Vs. Damian Stasiak (Featherweight)

Commonwealth bronze medallist and Kaobon head wrestling coach Mike Grundy returns once more after a 1st round Barabo Choke victory at BAMMA 18 against Mamadou Guyeye. With all his victories coming via the Barabo Choke, he will looking at his next victim in the shape of Poland's Damian Stasiak.

"I'm excited to fight again so soon after my last win on BAMMA 18. Looking forward to getting another impressive win on my‎ record."

Fighting out of Lodz Poland, Damian Stasiak brings a 7-2 record to BAMMA and is currently on a 4 fight win streak. Winning four of his seven victories via Rear Naked Choke, the bout could fast turn into a battle of the submission specialists.

Tom Aspinall Vs. Satish Jamia (Heavyweight)

Team Kaobon Heavyweight Tom Aspinall returns at BAMMA 19 after signing a five fight contract with the promotion, joining the fast growing BAMMA Heavyweight Division. After a record 0:49 second Heel hook win over Ricky King at BAMMA 18, Aspinall is looking at improving his 2-0 record against Satish Jamia and moving on towards the currently vacant BAMMA Heavyweight title.

"I'm looking forward to fighting my first international opponent. I respect him, but when the door closes, that all goes out of the window as I will be looking to put all my hard work in to practice and finishing him"

Satish "The Crazy Indian" Jamia enters BAMMA 19 with a 3-3 record. With the majority of his wins coming in the second round, the Team Schreiber fighter from The Hague in Holland is looking to add the Heavyweight Prospect, Aspinall to his win record.
