Miah inks BAMMA deal meets Gerrard at BAMMA 18, Aspinall vs King & Court vs King also set for Feb 21st

BAMMA have today announced three more bouts for the BAMMA 18 prelims; a flyweight bout has been set as Chris "Night" Miah faces Mick Gerrard, Tom Aspinall Vs. Ricky King will face off in a Heavyweight contest & Nathan Court Vs. Louis 'KO' King in a Middleweight battle at the Wolverhampton Civic Centre 21st February 2015. Miah has also signed a multi fight contract with the promotion as of today.

Chris Miah Vs. Mick Gerrard (Flyweight)

Chris "Night" Miah hails from Solihull in the West Midlands and brings a pro record of 5-0 to BAMMA. Training out of Pariah MMA, Miah has signed a multi fight deal with the promotion. Ahead of the fight he had the following message:

"Im glad to be able to showcase and test my skills against a good opponent on one of the biggest stages in Europe.  I am planning on being at my best and putting in my best performance to date for the BAMMA fans."

Mick Gerrard currently sports a 3-1 pro record and was undefeated as a amateur. He most recent victory came over Reece Street last November. Mick fights out of Liverpool Vale Tudo.

Tom Aspinall Vs. Ricky King (Heavyweight)

Tom Aspinall is a heavyweight fighter sporting a 1-0 record and trains out of the renowned Kaobon gym in Liverpool. Approaching his bout with Ricky King.  BAMMA consultant Chris Zorba:

"Tom Aspinall is potentially the most exciting and most talented UK MMA Heavyweight we have seen. He has the tools to go all the way and BAMMA will provide him with a great platform to prove this”

Ricky King fights out of the Roker Rough House Boxing & MMA gym in Sunderland and brings a 2-0 record to BAMMA on the 21st Feb in Wolverhampton. Ricky wanted to send Tom the following message:

“Tom is a good opponent but I intend to make it a great fight between two unbeaten heavyweights. I'd like to thank BAMMA for the opportunity of fighting on Europe's no 1 show"


Nathan Court Vs. Louis 'KO' King (Middleweight)

After a two year lay off due to injury, Nathan Court returns to the middleweight division at BAMMA 18 to take on Louis 'KO' King. With a record of 3-2, nathan fights out of Ferryhill MMA Club and is looking to make an immediate impact on his return:

"I am looking forward to this fight! Louis is a great fighter & a lot of people were avoiding him but I was more than happy to accept"

When a promotion like BAMMA comes calling, I was always going to sign the contract and I plan on turning up and putting on a show. Every fight I've had has been a fight of the night contender and I see this one being exactly the same, as we both have the skills to take each other out in a heartbeat!

Louis 'KO' King is also returning to MMA since competing exclusively in K1 since November of 2012. With a MMA record of 1-0 and fighting out of Team King, Louis is excited at the prospect of facing Court in the BAMMA cage in Wolverhampton on the 21st Feb:

“I'm excited to bring my K.O. power to BAMMA and entertain the crowds. Nathan better be at his best on Feb 21st"
