VIDEO: Oli Thompson prepares for big 2015, starting with Brett McDermott at BAMMA 17

Oli Thompson (12-7) enters into the clash of 'The Spartans' against Brett McDermott (3-1) this Saturday, December 6th at the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, and Thompson feels ready to make a big impact in 2015, starting with a win over McDermott.

The former heavyweight strongman winner comes into BAMMA 17 on the back off two defeats, however Thompson is confident he can get the results back on track, he said: "It's been probably my worst year, but I've proven myself over a longer period than just one year. I just want to make a run in this new weight class, enjoy my fighting and pay my bills.

"I'm coming to take some names and be noticed, I'm going to show up and show people what I'm about moving into 2015."
