Kane Mousah on FCC 11 fight "I'm going in there Saturday to fight and fight hard"

Full Contact Contender 11 takes place this weekend at the Macron Stadium, Bolton and one fighter who is looking to carry on his streak of destruction is Kane ‘The Danger’ Mousah.

Mousah (5-0) takes on Hayden Critchfield (8-5) in the co main event this Saturday and judging by Mousah’s previous FCC performances, fight fans in attendance will not want to blink.

Mousah last fought at FCC 10 where he finished Bulgarian Martin Stoyanov via TKO ground pound in the 1st round, a type of finish which is fast becoming a trade mark for the lightweight under the FCC promotion.

For many in attendance, this was the first time that they had seen Mousah took into the so called ‘trenches’ in a fight on FCC as Stoyanov attempted some dangerous submissions.

However, Mousah believes that the fight was nowhere near the ‘trenches’ compared to some of his earlier career fights.

“My first two fights against Farid Mohammed and Andy McGurgan; they were both to the trenches but all of the fights in FCC as far as I’m concerned, they haven’t gone to the trenches”

Mousah currently trains out of the highly rated Team Rough House which over the years has been home to various UK UFC stars such as Dan Hardy and Paul Daley. Nowadays, it is a haven for some of the big names on the domestic scene.

“We’ve got Jimmy Wallhead, Andre Winner, Matt Hallam, Leeroy Barnes and many more. “Said Mousah.

With a strong team and training camp behind him, it’s no surprise that he’s relaxed when discussing opponent Hayden Critchfield.

“His strength is most definitely his ground work but to be honest my last opponent Martin Stoyanov had a better ground game than him. His stand up doesn't look the best; he’s got experience, would I call him a journeyman  I’m not sure, he’s on a 3 fight winning streak but the opponents he’s faced haven’t been the best so you can’t really gauge on that”

The Manchester born fighter goes on to outline what fans in attendance can expect from him this coming Saturday.

“Expect me to go in there, stay calm, stay composed, if he’s ready to go for a war he’s most definitely going to get that from me, whatever opportunities arise I’m going to be looking to take advantage of him”

He then adds “I’m going in there Saturday to fight and fight hard”

After the Critchfield fight, Mousah is looking towards a bright future with big things on the horizon for him.

“To be honest, I've had talks this past week with a major UK promotion; I’ve been offered a fight deal which looks likely, so that’s next for me”

Kane would like to thank the following people:

“Better body supplements, Booster, 4th dimension, Wayne Kirk, John Gregg, Anthony Mousah and Naz my physio”
