Bantamweight clash between Mike Wootten and Antoine Gallinaro added to BAMMA 16 on September 13

BAMMA 16 gets bantamweight match-up

A Bantamweight affair has been announced for BAMMA 16, as The Ultimate Fighter's Mike Wootten and Antoine Gallinaro are scheduled to face off at the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester on 13th September.

Fighting out of Liverpool's MMA Academy, Mike Wootten (7-0) is a well known face on the North West circuit, and is coming off a win over Jody Collins at OMMAC 16.  His rise to the top of MMA was kick-started with The Ultimate Fighter: Team Rousey vs Team Tate, where he reached the semi-finals only to be defeated by Chris Holdsworth. Wootten  holds a purple belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu and has a background in Japanese jiu jitsu.

Évolution Pancrace fighter Antoine Gallinaro holds a 7-1 record under French Pankration rules, with all his victories have been achieved in the first two rounds. Gallinaro is the 2013 Bantamweight title holder for promotion 100% Fight, and was previously a university champion in kickboxing.
